Economic Calendar: Key Events for November 9–13, 2026

Economic news update as of November 4, 2026. This reflects conditions at the time of writing and is for informational purposes only, not financial advice.

After a busy week of elections, central bank decisions and jobs data, the focus next week turns to inflation. Here are the key scheduled releases for November 9–13, 2026, and why they matter. Release times can change, so always confirm on a live economic calendar.

Tuesday, November 10: US CPI (October)

Time: 8:30 a.m. ET

The biggest event of the week. Headline CPI rose to 3.7% in September from 3.4% in August, mainly because gasoline prices jumped. Core CPI, which excludes food and energy, was 2.6%.

Why it matters: The Fed has left a December hike on the table. A hot CPI print, especially in core inflation, would raise hike odds and likely support the dollar. A softer reading would do the opposite.

Thursday, November 12: UK GDP

UK growth figures arrive one week after the Bank of England’s November 5 decision. If the Bank hikes, weak GDP data would raise questions about how much further it can go, which could weigh on GBP.

Friday, November 13: US PPI (October)

Time: 8:30 a.m. ET

The Producer Price Index measures prices at the wholesale level and can be an early signal for consumer inflation. It matters more than usual when energy prices are moving sharply.

Coming Soon After

  • Sunday, November 15: Japan GDP, important for the Bank of Japan’s December decision
  • Wednesday, November 18: FOMC minutes from the October meeting, and final eurozone October inflation
  • Wednesday, December 9: Federal Reserve rate decision

How to Use This Calendar

Before each release, note the forecast and the previous figure. The market moves on the surprise, the difference between the actual number and what was expected, not on the number alone. New to economic calendars? Read our guide: How to Read an Economic Calendar Like a Trader.
